A smoke screen would just be a firework device that puts up a lot of smoke so he can run away or find advantage in another way. Calling in followers only works if someone is there to roleplay with me and is a subordinate of rand al'thoricks. Basically asking someone to fight for him. That sort of thing. Nothing catchy haha.
